Little Millet Pongal Recipe and Its Benefits
Serving person: 2 (2 cups each)
Serving time: Morning breakfast
Ingredients:
Little Millet: 1 1/2 cups washed
Moong Dal: ½ cup mildly roasted (always 3:1)
Pepper powder: ½ teaspoon
Jeera: 1/2 teaspoon
Green chili: 2 chilies
Curry leaves: 1 strand
Ghee: 6-8 teaspoon
Salt: as needed
Preparation
In a pressure cooker, add ghee and jeera, whole chilies and curry leaves. Add washed little millet and roasted moong dal. Add water in a ratio of 1:4 (little millet and dal to water). Add salt and mix well. Allow them to cook for 3 whistles. Finally, your little millet pongal is ready. Before serving hot, add the pepper powder to this dish and mix well for semi solid consistency.
